With the publication of OMB Circular A-123 -- "Improving the Management of Government Charge Card Program" (August 2005), the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), General Services Administration (GSA), Department of Treasury (Treasury), and other Federal Agencies have initiated steps to mitigate risks associated with the broad use of credit cards.
